Now the pioneering Dutch DJ is taking part in an event at the UN headquarters in New York, organized by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Johan Cruyff Foundation, on June 16, with a performance at the closing reception.
Hardwell will also be spotlighting his charitable organization and will be joined by retired soccer players, including Frank Rijkaard, who will discuss the sport’s famed platform as a way to promote peace.

The United We Are Foundation is said to be planning the project’s next aid event in a new country, according to a press release from the organization, with a continuing focus on education for young children.
