Hardwell has so far made good on his promise to spend more time in the studio now that he’s retired from the stage. He made the announcement in September of last year, and he has since released a string of original tunes, the latest of which sees him team with JGUAR for a heartfelt sing-along.
Anyone who watched or tuned in for the Dutch dynamo’s set at Tomorrowland will remember “Being Alive” from its live premiere. It’s an emotional, hard-hitting melody amplified by all the electronic flourishes Hardwell is known for. He sees it as an energetic follow-up to his 2013 Amba Shepherd collaboration “Apollo.” It’s got a touch of hardstyle in the drop, but remains one of the producer’s softest touches.
“Being Alive” follows Hardwell’s dance-pop tune “How You Love Me” with Conor Maynard and Snoop Dogg. It’s out now on his label Revealed Music. Watch the official lyric video below.
