Have you had enough Hardwell? How about never?
The Dutch DJ and producer shocked fans with a load of new music last month. He rolled out a new collaborative EP, Hardwell and Friends Vol. 1, with special pomp and circumstance, dropping a song a day throughout the week of July 24 to 28. Now, he’s back with Hardwell and Friends Vol. 2, and the game is unchanged.
He debuted the project with lead single “Badam” Monday, Aug. 21. it’s a dark Caribbean and Middle Eastern-influenced sound featuring Henry Fong and Mr. Vegas. If you’re a fan of older, harder Major Lazer jams, this is something you can dutty wine to.
“Badam” was followed Tuesday (Aug. 22) by “Still The One,” with Kill The Buzz and Max Collins. It’s a classic progressive house track with bright, emotional chords and energetic synths. Next up is “What We Need” with Haris, a slow-build dance-pop anthem with classic Hardwell flourishes and a big, confetti canon drop.
“Powerhouse” with Moski is next to enter the batter’s box and was made in just a couple of days, according to Hardwell. It’s a high-octane electro house heater that boasts blaring synths and pure adrenaline.
Hardwell made special videos to go along with each one. Check out all four below.
