Shelton Hank Williams III, aka Hank III, has set a Feb. 28 release date for his newest effort, “Straight to Hell.” The double-disc Curb release, produced by the Nashville native himself, consists of 13 total tracks total. The second disc features one continuous track, dubbed “Louisiana Stripes,” with a variety of songs.
“Straight to Hell” also finds the rowdy rocker covering one of his famous grandfather’s tunes, as he puts his own spin on “I Could Never Be Ashamed of You.”
Williams will be on the road extensively this year but for now his only confirmed appearance is at the South by Southwest Festival in March in Austin, Texas.
“Straight to Hell” is the artist’s first effort since 2002’s “Lovesick, Broke & Driftin,'” which peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.
