Halsey is heading Down Under for next month’s ARIA Awards.
The “Without Me” singer is the first international artist confirmed to perform at the 33rd annual ARIAs, the Australian recording industry’s flagship awards ceremony.
Halsey’s star is absolutely on the rise in these parts. Her Billboard Hot 100 leader “Without Me” reached No. 2 on the ARIA Singles Chart, and remains in the top 100 after more than a year. It’s five-times-platinum in Australia.
Halsey is prepping for the release for her forthcoming third studio album Manic, due out Jan. 17, 2020. The U.S. pop singer’s two previous albums, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom (from 2017) and Badlands (2015) both peaked at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
“I’ve a very special performance planned,” she says in an ARIAs teaser clip. Whether she’ll hit new tracks “Graveyard,” “Maniac,” or a medley, is anyone’s guess.

“We are thrilled to be able to welcome Halsey to this year’s ARIA Awards as a special guest performer,” comments Dan Rosen, ARIA CEO, in a statement. “She is one of the most exciting acts in the world right now, a truly original and talented artist. We can’t wait to see her take the ARIA Awards stage.”
With eight nominations Tones And I, leads the pack heading into the 2019 ARIAs, with Hilltop Hoods and The Teskey Brothers close behind with seven each.
