American Idol season 10 alum Haley Reinhart is going places — specifically, Wichita — in this scorching new collaboration with Postmodern Jukebox on the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army.”
The new track — included on Postmodern Jukebox’s latest release, Swipe Right For Vintage — transforms the alternative rock song into what the group describes as a “New Orleans funeral march.”
Reinhart wraps her sultry, trademark growl around more than the lyrics. Several times, she goes the extra mile and mimics the instrumentation to create dramatic atmospherics.

Reinhart is backed by Postmodern Jukebox’s Scott Bradlee on piano, Mike Rocha on trumpet, Jacob Scesney on saxophone, Lemar Guillary on trombone, Adam Kubota on bass, and Tony Austin on drums.

The group is heading out for a tour of Australia, New Zealand and Asia on Aug. 29, but will be back stateside for a national tour beginning in October.
