Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor has elevated Jay Halbert to executive VP of finance and CFO. Based in Philadelphia, Halbert replaces Sandy Lipstein, who recently retired after 20-plus years with the company.

Tickets.
Additionally, Halbert will join Comcast-Spectacor’s Office of the Chair. Along with Halbert, the executive management group consists of chairman Ed Snider, vice chairman Fred Shabel, president Peter Luukko, and executive VP and general counsel Phil Weinberg. Lipstein will continue to serve Comcast-Spectacor as an emeritus member of the Office of the Chair and on a consulting basis.
Prior to his new role, Halbert served as VP of finance at Comcast-Spectacor. Before joining the firm in early 2007, he was CFO at Venue One.
