Country legend Merle Haggard has released “Working Man’s Journey” through Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, a home-style restaurants and gift shops chain.
The collection of 12 previously unreleased recordings is on sale now for $11.99 at 559 Cracker Barrel locations and online at crackerbarrel.com, the CD features new songs as well as new recordings of some of his classics, including “If We Make It Through December,” “Are The Good Times Really Over,” “Working Man Blues,” “Kern River,” Shade Tree Fix-It Man” and “Rainbow Stew.”
Cracker Barrel’s most recent release was “Songs of the Year,” which featured new recordings by Trace Adkins, Trisha Yearwood and Dierks Bentley with George Jones, among others. Cracker Barrel has also released exclusive CDs by Alison Krauss & Union Station, Charlie Daniels, Amy Grant and Sara Evans.
Meanwhile, the company will release “Josh Turner: Live at the Ryman” on July 3.
