Eats Everything is wasting no time in 2015.
Coming off a year that saw him return to the ranks of label favorites Dirtybird and Pets Recordings, the British veteran is now criss-crossing the globe to bring his eclectic blend of underground house music to the masses.
From playing Paradise and Carl Cox & Friends parties at BPM Festival to touring runs in SoCal and England, the Bristol-based artist is in for an action-packed January. Billboard caught up with Eats Everything, aka Dan Pearce, on the road to get a sense for the sounds that currently fill his headphones.
Lil’ Louis – French Kiss
“I had the honour of meeting Louis the other day while at ADE and have been playing this loads over the last year or so. One of those records that will never get old and is a sure fire winner with the crowd.”
Sueno Latino – Viscosa
“This has been a staple in my sets recently, especially when I go to places like Italy and Spain, who like it a lot more techno.”
Sylvester – Do You Want to Funk (Club Mix)
“Disco and boogie are still and always will be my favourite genres and this record is one of the best. You can play it between techno and house records in a set and at the end of the day anyone who doesn’t like disco shouldn’t be in a club anyway.”
Paul Simon – Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes
“He is in my eyes one of the greatest musicians to ever live. The whole of the Graceland album will never get old for me.”
Tiga – Bugatti (Eats Everything Cortina Remix)
“My latest production, a remix for the lovely Tiga. Bit more techno than some of my other productions, but it seems to go down well in the clubs.”
