Just weeks after being arrested at his buddy Waka Flocka Flame‘s crib after it was raided by police, Gucci Mane might be returning to the big house for yet another probation violation… but not before he is sent to a medical facility.
The exact sentence has not been revealed yet, but it has been reported that Gucci will be at a “medical treatment facility” for 30 days after he filed papers yesterday (Jan. 3) saying he was not mentally competent to fight the prosecutors’ efforts to revoke his probation. Gucci has been taken into custody and sent to the mental health treatment center where his mental condition will be evaluated. Poor Gucci.
Meanwhile, Waka — who isn’t staying far behind with his arrests record — turned himself in to police yesterday (Jan. 3) and his momager Debra Antney says it’s because “he wanted to do the right thing and didn’t want to run.” Except, Waka’s house was raided last month and it took him up to now to surrender. *Scratching my head*
Waka Flocka Flame Surrenders to Police on Drug, Gun Charges
Deb told MTV News that the raid “had nothing to do with prostitution” and that “the weapons they found were licensed weapons. There was under an ounce of marijuana, but it was nothing but a blunt. The other drugs were medication that was in Waka’s room from when he got hurt” during a shooting last year.
Waka is facing charges of possessing marijuana, possessing a firearm by a convicted felon and possessing a firearm during a crime, as well as breaking the state’s anti-gang laws and driving on a suspended license. His bond is allegedly set at $31,950; a hearing is set for today. Sigh.
