How do you connect with your fans? Besides through my music, I think it’s a day-by-day job because while you’re living your regular life you share that affection and love you receive out on the streets.
Who do you look up to/Who inspires you? Celia Cruz is one of the people that inspire me the most because I know her personal situation and how making music transcended her story.
What’s a passion of yours fans may not know about/What do you like doing in your spare time? Many people don’t know the passion that I have for horses. I practiced equestrianism in the U.S. from the age of 18 to 22. During my free time, I like to be in contact with the water, I try to spend days at the beach.
In what ways do you embrace creativity/What’s your creative process? I don’t have a specific process to work on my creativity. I can stop anytime to write what’s on my mind and I start to develop it.
Can you share the story of a major success/accomplishment you are proud of? The company that I used to work for, before leaving everything for music, sponsored an “Urban Music” award. I had the opportunity to meet the president and his children who asked if they could take pictures with me.
In the age of social media, what does it mean to you? This has been a key factor in my career. Thanks to the era of social media I made myself known and achieved the acceptance of an audience that have supported me to this day.
What’s your favorite way to connect with fans and let them into your world? My favorite way to connect with my fans is sharing my life via social media where they become part of my day.
