Grateful Dead Fare Thee Well Arrives & Thrives with Trey Anastasio on the Side
Now that the Grateful Dead have wrapped their epic two-night stand at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., the band and fans around the country can turn their attention to the final three ‘Fare Thee Well’ concerts taking place this weekend (July 3-5) at Soldier Field in Chicago. While tickets are sold out, they are still readily available via the secondary market with StubHub prices (at press time) as high as $5,000 and as low as $189 for obstructed view seats. Fans who won’t be in Chicago have a variety of ways to watch or listen to the shows, ranging from pay-per-view to webcasts to live high-definition broadcasts in movie theaters. Below we have listed all the ways fans can take part in these historic concerts so you don’t have to suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out).

The official webcast of Fare Thee Well is available for $29.95 per show or all three shows for $79.95. Fans will be able to watch the concert live on their computer and will have 30 days of unlimited streams of all the shows. Click here for more details.

YouTube is also offering a live stream, which will be available on their website as well as other devices including Android, Apple TV, Google TV, IOS, Xbox 360, Xbox One, WiiU and some smart TVs. It costs $19.95 for each live stream, but offers no video on demand.

The three Fare Thee Well concerts are available as a pay per view, via iNDEMAND, in the U.S. and Canada via many different cable operators including AT&T, Bell TV, Comcast Infinity, Time Warner Cable, Verizon Fios and Cox Communications, among others. Along with the live shows, iNDEMAND is also airing free On-Demand Grateful Dead content including interviews with drummer Bill Kreutzmann and guitarist Bob Weir, a preview of the concerts and an exclusive interview with Jerry Garcia’s three daughters. Movie Theaters:
Fare Thee Well will be the first ever three-night live concert to be broadcast in cinemas. There are nearly 250 movie theaters across North America showing the concerts live. ‘We’re Off and Running’: Producer of Grateful Dead’s Fare Thee Well Shows Addresses That Rainbow
SiriusXM:
SiriusXM will be broadcasting the final three Fare Thee Well shows live on their Grateful Dead channel (SiriusXM channel 23). The digital radio network is offering pre and post-show coverage of all three shows from Tales from the Golden Road hosts David Gans and Gary Lambert, along with insight from Dead archivist David Lemieux. The Grateful Dead channel will rebroadcast each show the following day at 2 p.m. ET. They will also air each complete concert three different times over Labor Day weekend. Click here for more info.
