That technical snafu during Adele‘s Grammy Awards performance? The singer took it in stride, announcing via Twitter that she was “treating” herself to an In-N-Out burger following the show (the closest Los Angeles location being about eight miles away from Staples Center). “Maybe it was worth it,” she cracked.
Because of it though… I’m treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it.

But the sound issues that caused the performance to nearly derail (the result of a microphone which fell into the grand piano and onto a string) were no laughing matter for label executives and Grammy producers who wondered aloud whether the show should have cut to commercial or if Adele herself could have stopped and started over.
Late into Grammy night, the answers were not yet clear, though it remained a popular conversation topic at parties all over town, from Republic Records’ celebration at Hollywood hotspot Hyde to the packed room at Universal Music Group’s Ace Theatre aftershow to Warner Music Group’s Missy Elliott-fronted fete at Milk Studios. Adele herself, it seems opted out of the afterparty scene completely, skipping the tony Sony Music bash held at the Hotel Bel Air, where she was expected.
No word yet on if Adele ended up elsewhere, or whether she went for the double-double.
