Graham Parker and the Rumour are on the road again.
The rock group, reunited after over three decades, have returned with “Long Emotional Ride,” a lyric video from their new album, “Three Chords Good.”
The lyric video pictures a woman driving down rain-soaked streets and turning the track up. (Keep an eye out for Parker-themed street art in the style of Shepard Fairey’s Barack Obama “Hope” poster.)
“Three Chords Good” is the British band’s first set together since 1980’s “The Up Escalator.”
Graham Parker Reunites the Rumour, Heads to Judd Apatow’s “This is 40”
“Everybody has become exceptionally good at their musicianship,” Parker recently told Billboard. “The Rumour haven’t lost any of their soul or intensity but it’s a completely different intensity.”
The reunion was encouraged by a call from Judd Apatow, who features the band (playing themselves) in his film “This Is 40.” Parker and the Rumour’s current tour brings them to Los Angeles’ Roxy Theater on Tuesday, where they’ll headline a show featuring Fleetwood Mac‘s Lindsey Buckingham and Ryan Adams, who also contributed to the “This is 40” soundtrack.

The film is due Dec. 21; “Three Chords Good” was released in November, with the group’s month-long tour coming to an end at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minn., on Dec. 19.
