Gov’t Mule, the Roots, the String Cheese Incident, Burning Spear, and the Funky Meters are among the acts set to play at the Summit, a three-day music festival held the weekend of Aug. 17-19 at Mariaville, N.Y.’s Indian Lookout Country Club. Patterned somewhat after the as previously reported, will feature an all-star cast of guest musicians.
Other artists confirmed for the Summit include Original P, Deep Banana Blackout, the John Scofield Band, Max Creek, and the Jazz Mandolin Project. Guest musicians, including Phish drummer Jon Fishman and Medeski Martin & Wood drummer Billy Martin, are expected to perform as well.
