Pulling off a New York City music fest isn’t easy, but the Governors Ball empire is ready and raring for another go-around.
Today (Nov. 11), the three-day summer fest announced that it will return to Randall’s Island June 5-7, 2015. The new dates mark the festival’s fifth annual run.
A limited amount of pre-sale tickets will go on sale Nov. 13 at 12 p.m. (ET) on Governors Ball’s official web site. Both regular and VIP weekend passes will be available.

Last year’s festival was headlined by OutKast, Jack White, and Vampire Weekend. The Governors Ball brand recovered after torrential rain during 2013’s fest left Randall’s Island so damaged and mud-ridden that events like the following month’s Backyard Festival had to be cancelled.
According to a press release, the 2014 edition generated approximately $40 million of economic activity for New York City and $20 million in wages earned.
