The singer/actor might succeed “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe in the musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” for a short stint after the latter actor departs the Tony-winning show later this year. Criss’ rep tells Billboard.com that talks are underway, but a deal has not been made.

Criss fans (not to mention “Potter” devotees) must be squealing with delight at the news as the move would represent a full-circle moment for the star. Criss gained fame pre-“Glee” thanks to his portrayal of Harry Potter in the viral hit musical show “A Very Potter Musical” — a parody of the “Harry Potter” books and films. And now he might take over for the actor that originated the role of Potter on the silver screen.
