
First Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” now it’s “Gangnam Style.” “Glee” will continue to mine the latest in pop culture when the Fox musical covers global superstar PSY’s Internet phenomenon during an episode slated to air toward the end of November.
The series will take on the craze that’s been featured on everything from “Saturday Night Live” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” with a heavily choreographed routine that, at least on first glance, appears to be part of New Directions’ Sectionals performance.

So who’s the frontman sporting the shades? Watch closely and you’ll catch a glimpse at Chord Overstreet’s Sam Evans taking the leading role in the routine.
“That’s right, ‘Glee’ is going ‘Gangnam Style,'” Kevin McHale says in the clip released Wednesday. “You know we had to do it.”

“Glee” returns from its hiatus on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 9 p.m. on Fox. In the meantime, PSY will perform the hit for the first time in front of a worldwide audience Nov. 11 at the MTV European Music Awards.
