Following the devastating series of tornadoes that ripped through Tennessee early Tuesday morning (March 3), Gibson is helping Nashville-based musicians.
Gibson Gives, the charity branch of Gibson Brands, pledged to donate guitars to those whose guitar of any brand was damaged in the natural disaster.
“Our goal is to get a guitar back into the hands of anyone who has had their guitar damaged or destroyed in the recent Tennessee storm,” Executive Director of Gibson Gives Dendy Jarrett said in a statement on the organization’s website. “As a Nashville, Tennessee-based company, we are also engaging with our artists and other partners to provide support across many areas.”
Musicians can send their stories via email to donation.request@gibson.com, and “Guitars will be provided at Gibson’s sole discretion based on proof of damage or loss.”
