Ticket holders who were turned away from the rained-out Giant Village NYE 2006 celebration in Los Angeles are eligible for refunds, but will have to act fast.
According to a statement on the Giant Village Web site, Groove Tickets, the online outlet that sold many of the 15,000 tickets to the event, is offering full refunds or an exchange for an “events package consisting of multiple events of greater value.”
Ticket holders must make a decision by tomorrow (Jan. 5); Groove Tickets has yet to announce further details about the event package, though it will feature several 21-and-over events at various Los Angeles venues.
Additional Giant Village ticket retailer Virgin Megastores plans to post its refund policy on the Giant Village site later this afternoon.
Giant Village was called off on New Year’s Eve due to the threat of heavy rain showers in the area. Performances were planned across six city blocks by Black Eyed Peas, Death Cab For Cutie and the Crystal Method, among others.
