Get On Down is releasing a limited “Gold Edition” deluxe box set of Nas‘ “Illmatic” in time for the holidays.
There are two packages that became available to all fans on Get On Down’s site today (Dec. 10): a CD & LP deluxe bundle ($ 49.94) and CD-only deluxe package ($ 34.94).
The CD boxset, which there is only 2,000 of, includes a remastered 24k Audiophile gold disc CD of “Illmatic,” a cherry-wood box with gold plaque to hold the CD, a 48-page hard-cover book including liner notes, extended artwork and full album lyrics, and more.
