Kobalt Music Group has inked an exclusive, worldwide administration deal with singer and songwriter Gavin DeGraw.
Through the arrangement, announced today, Kobalt will represent DeGraw’s new works, including his upcoming new album and new single, “Best I Ever Had” (RCA), which was co-written by DeGraw and producer Martin Johnson. Kobalt’s global sync team will also represent DeGraw’s music for use in film, TV, advertising, and other media.
DeGraw broke through with his 2003 debut album, “Chariot” (J Records), which sold more than a million copies and carried the hits “I Don’t Want To Be,” “Follow Through,” and the title-track.
DeGraw’s last studio album, “Sweeter” from 2011, spawned the hit “Not Over You” and has sold more than 223,000 copies in the U.S. to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The singer also appeared on season 14 of “Dancing With the Stars.”
DeGraw is currently on a summer North American tour with Train and The Script through September.
