HARD’s founding father may have left the Live Nation nest, but Gary Richards hasn’t lost a beat in doing what he does best: throw epic parties.
Also known as the DJ and producer Destructo, Richards is deep into his latest brand All My Friends as 2018 rounds its fourth month. He’s already announced a new music festival cruise called the Friend Ship, and he threw a wild AMF breakfast party from 5 in the morning until the early afternoon during Miami Music Week in late March. Now, he announces a new summer festival coming to his homebase of downtown Los Angeles called, simply, All My Friends Festival.
It’s a two-day weekend event, making a landing at ROW DTLA Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 18 and 19. It will feature three stages, and while the lineup has yet to be disclosed, a press release does promise bass-throwing DJ sets, soulful R&B performances and hip-hop stars.
The venue, formerly the site of a massive farmers market, features lots of shady trees among an industrial backdrop. All My Friends Festival is for anyone and everyone you know who is 18 years or older. Early-bird tickets are on sale Thursday at 9 a.m. ET. Check the announcement video for teasers below.
