SpectiCast, which beams concerts into theaters, has added “Aerosmith: Rock For The Rising Sun” to their offerings beginning Oct. 17. The film is a collection of Aerosmith performances at seven different venues during their 2011 tour of Japan. This film combines full-length live tracks with behind the scenes footage, including performances of “Love In An Elevator,” “Livin’ On The Edge” and “Walk This Way.”

Syndctd Entertainment, which recently released a 40th anniversary edition of “The Harder They Come,” will release the Stone Roses documentary “Made of Stone” in North America beginning Nov. 6. A sneak preview will be held during the CBGB Festival on Oct. 10 at the Landmark’s Sunshine Theatre.
Featuring never-before-seen footage and a cameo by Liam Gallagher, as well as rare glimpses into the personal moments between bandmates, director Shane Meadows followed the band during their reunion concerts in the spring and summer of 2012. Syndctd Entertainment’s Philip Camino and Jonathan Chaupin negotiated the acquisition with Altitude Film Sales Mike Runagall.

“The Sing-Off” will return to NBC beginning Dec. 9 for seven episodes. A two-hour finale of the a cappella singing show will air Dec. 23. The winning group will receive a recording contract and $100,000. Nick Lachey will return as host with Jewel, Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman as judges. Mark Burnett of “The Voice” has taken over as executive producer.
The last two winners of NBC’s “The Voice” are returning to television this week. Season 4 winner Danielle Bradbery shot a guest spot on the CW’s “Hart of Dixie” on Oct. 9, singing her single “Heart of Dixie.”
Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope will sit in with the Roots on the Oct. 9 episode of NBC’s “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.”
