Booking agents Matt Galle and Andrew Ellis of Ellis Industries have joined the Paradigm agency and brought with them their entire roster of clients, it was announced by Chip Hooper, head of the Paradigm Music Division and Marty Diamond, head of Paradigm’s East Coast Music operation.
Ellis and Galle will work out of Paradigm’s New York offices, effective immediately. They bring with them acts including My Chemical Romance, Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Boys Like Girls, Alkaline Trio, Metro Station, Hellogoodbye, Circa Survive, Thrice, New Found Glory, Say Anything and others.
Galle and Ellis were both principals in the Ellis Industries agency before moving to Paradigm. Both agents made independent choices to join the agency and bring their entire music rosters to Paradigm. Ellis Industries will be shuttered.
Diamond tells Billboard.biz that not only are Galle and Ellis talented agents with great clients, but they fit in well with the Paradigm New York office culture. “We’re pretty chill, we all do lunches together, and they just fit in,” he says. “They’ve got ideas, they’re really creative guys, they’ve got great packaging ideas.”
