Marshall Hall has been tapped as the new baritone singer for the Gaither Vocal Band, the acclaimed quartet fronted by Southern gospel patriarch Bill Gaither. Hall fills a vacancy left last month by Russ Taff, who is resuming a solo career.
A native of Lexington, Ky., Hall is a familiar face to Gaither fans, as he has been performing regularly on the popular “Homecoming” series of live concerts and DVD/VHS releases. Hall has also written songs for Point Of Grace, Salvador, Andy Denton and David Phelps, as well as contributing original material to Gaither’s “Build a Bridge” and “God Bless America” videos.
