Ready to feel old? The 20th anniversary of the premiere of Friends is next week.
As part of the celebration, a pop-up Central Perk coffee shop, full of memorabilia from the show, is in New York City for the next month. On Tuesday night, the shop had a few very special visitors: The Rembrandts, who obviously performed the show’s iconic theme song.
Watch a clip of the band singing “I’ll Be There For You” — sadly, without the colorful umbrellas. (Buzzfeed has full video of the performance.)
But the Rembrandts weren’t the only special visitors: James Michael Tyler, who played Central Perk manager Gunther, was also on hand to team up with the band for a very special version of “Smelly Cat.” Could this be more perfect?
The Central Perk pop-up shop is in New York City until Oct. 18.
