Gilles Paire, co-founder, shareholder and EVP of French independent music label and distributor Naïve has left the company.
He departed on Jan. 14, 2010, according to a statement by Naïve CEO Patrick Zelnik.
“Gilles has brought a determined contribution to the creation and growth of Naïve, which has became in 12 years a major player in Europe,” said Zelnik. :We thank him and wish him the best for the future.”
The reason for his departure has not been disclosed. In late 2009, Naïve let go of 19 staff members as part of a restructuring, which led to the outsourcing of some distribution operations.
