Frank Ocean ‘Deep’ Into Sophomore Album
The singer-songwriter shared that he’s “like 10, 11 songs ” into the effort. “It’s another cohesive thing, bordering on a concept record again,” he continued.
Frank Ocean expressed a desire to explore a feeling extending from “channel Orange.” “At the end of ‘channel ORANGE’ there’s “Golden Girl,” and it’s this beach scene,” he said. “And I kind of want it to extend that feel into the next record all together, kind of make it that theme.”
Ocean plans on working in Bora Bora for a few weeks, which coincides perfectly with his proposed “beach theme.” Frank Ocean hinted on looking into collaborations for his upcoming album, sharing interest in King Krule and Tame Impala. He confirmed working with Pharrell Williams and plans to work with Danger Mouse.
