Francis Keeling has been promoted to VP, Digital, at Universal Music Group International. He was previously head of commercial, Digital, at Universal Music U.K., which he joined in 2002.
Keeling will be based in London and report to Rob Wells, SVP, Digital, UMGI. In his new role, Keeling will be responsible for managing UMGI’s commercial relationships with partners, including its ongoing discussions with ISPs about new music services.
“Our international digital business has been the industry standard over the past three years, which is largely thanks to the team which works here,” said Wells in a statement. “This appointment reflects the excellent business contributions Francis has made, including a key role in developing our partnerships with Nokia, BSkyB and Orange.”
