Rapper Foxy Brown pled no contest in exchange for a plea deal in a case stemming from misdemeanor assault charges in Florida yesterday (April 24), according to the Miami Herald.
Brown was sentenced to six months probation, 15 hours of community service as well as the responsibility of paying the court’s fees and fines. She must also enroll in an anger management course and pen a letter of apology to the employee she assaulted.
The case was the result of an altercation at Queen Beauty Supply store in February 2007. Brown is still facing a civil suit from the store’s manager.
The MC was released from New York’s Rikers Island prison on April 18 after serving eight months for a parole violation. A representative for Brown was unavailable for comment at press time.
