For the week leading up to the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, Billboard asked the hosts and anchors of some of cable news’ most-watched shows to put together inauguration playlists — their personal soundtracks for the Jan. 20 ceremony and the next four years. Today’s playlist comes courtesy of Bret Baier, the chief political anchor for Fox News.
1. “Follow Me (Twitter Song)” by Sean Kingston
The king of dancehall sings about Twitter, which happens to be President-elect Trump’s favorite medium for communicating to the masses.
2. “Fly Over States” by Jason Aldean
Trump was elected president because he resonated in “flyover states” with folks who don’t believe Washington was working in either party and wanted change.
3. “Don’t Let Me Down” by The Chainsmokers
That’s what Trump’s supporters are probably saying — hoping that he follows through on the promises he made on the campaign trail. Eighty-four percent of evangelicals voted for him — a higher percentage than voted for George W. Bush in 2004.
4. “Record Year” by Eric Church
Very few saw this coming, and there is no doubt President-elect Donald Trump is having a “record year.”
5. “The Wall” by Johnny Cash
Of all the promises that Trump made, building a “a big, beautiful wall” on the Southern border was his biggest. Now he’ll push to make that a reality.
