Jeffrey Epstein’s death by suicide in his jail cell on Saturday morning (Aug. 10) has raised a lot of questions on both sides of the political spectrum, and it appears Foster the People have their own theory about what exactly happened.
On Saturday night, the band tweeted that they believe Epstein’s death was faked and that the photo circulating online that shows the billionaire’s body being wheeled out on a gurney is part of a hoax. “have you seen photos of the body?” they wrote. “it’s obviously not him. my guess is, epstein’s on a private plane to somewhere in the middle east getting prepped for plastic surgery right now #EpsteinBodyDouble”
Epstein, 66, was facing 45 years in prison for sex trafficking charges. The FBI has launched an investigation into his death.
