Hit songwriter Radney Foster has signed with Nashville publisher Sea Gayle Music. The company was founded in 1999 by songwriters Chris DuBois, Frank Rogers and Brad Paisley and has scored 20 No. 1 hits in its first decade.
“I have been a fan of Radney Foster’s for a long time,” said co-founder DuBois in a prepared statement. “From his work with Foster & Lloyd to his solo albums, his music has had a major impact on me as a fan of country music and as a songwriter.”
Foster’s first hit was “Love Somebody Like Me,” co-written with and recorded by Holly Dunn in 1987. Since then, Foster’s catalog has included hit songs for Keith Urban (“Raining On Sunday”), Sara Evans (“A Real Fine Place To Start”), Kenny Chesney (“Somebody Take Me Home”) and Hootie & The Blowfish (“A Fine Line”), among others.
Sea Gayle’s hits include all of Paisley’s chart toppers plus cuts by Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Gary Allan, Montgomery Gentry, Trace Adkins and Chesney.
