Former Guess Who members, guitarist Randy Bachman and singer Burton Cummings, will be recognized by Canada’s private broadcasters at this years’ Canadian Association of Broadcasters Annual Convention in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Bachman and Cummings will be inducted into the CAB Hall of Fame in the Music Star category at the Gold Ribbon Awards Gala on Nov. 8.
“We cannot think of a more fitting tribute to these immensely talented artists” says Rob Braide, chair of the CAB Board of Directors. “Randy and Burton have been instrumental to the success of the Canadian music industry, both at home and abroad. Canada’s private broadcasters are honored to be celebrating their achievements.”
The Canadian Association of Broadcasters is the national voice of Canada’s private broadcasters, representing the vast majority of Canadian programming services, including private radio and television stations, networks, specialty, pay and pay-per-view services.
