
The Foo Fighters have announced a handful of South American concert dates in support of their eighth studio album, Sonic Highways, due Nov. 10 through Roswell Records/RCA Records.

The band will begin the South American trek in Chile on Jan. 15, 2015, followed by performances in Argentina, Brazil and Colombia. The venues for those concerts have not yet been announced.
The Foo Fighters haven’t revealed plans for a North American tour, but the band is scheduled to appear at Las Vegas’ Life Is Beautiful on Oct. 26 and New Orleans’ Voodoo Experience on Nov. 2. The group also has two live dates scheduled for South Africa in December.

Produced by Butch Vig and the Foo Fighters, Sonic Highways’ eight songs were recorded separately in eight different U.S. cities. The vinyl edition of the album will come in an assortment for nine different covers, with eight variants for each the cities in which the Foos spent time.
Sonic Highways is also the name of the eight-episode HBO series chronicling the road-trippin’ creation of the album, which will premiere on Oct. 17.
