The Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire are set to perform alongside Mick Jagger when the rock legend hosts the “Saturday Night Live” season 37 finale next week.
EW.com first reported that the two bands would join Jagger on the May 19 finale. The episode marks his first time hosting, although he has performed twice before, after first taking the “SNL” stage with the Rolling Stones in 1978.
Both bands tweeted about the gig, with the Foo Fighters writing, “What’re you guys doing next Saturday Night? #SNL” and Arcade Fire posting, “We’re extremely excited to be joining Mick Jagger on SNL next Sat, May 19!”
Jagger previously made a cameo on the show in a skit with Jimmy Fallon. Watch a clip below.
Tomorrow (May 12), Will Ferrell will host and Usher will perform on the penultimate episode of the current “SNL” series.
