Colombian singer/songwriter Fonseca has signed a worldwide co-publishing agreement with EMI Music Publishing.
Fonseca garnered national attention in his native Colombia with the hit single “Te Mando Flores,” from his EMI Televisa debut album “Corazon.” The song topped Colombian charts for over 20 weeks and propelled Fonseca to local stardom.
In the United States, Fonseca’s album was released earlier this year, with “Te Mando Flores” replicating the radio success it garnered in Colombia. The track peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and has spent 12 weeks on the chart. It is currently at No. 13. “Te Mando Flores” is nominated for two Latin Grammy awards, including record of the year, and “Corazon” is up for one.
