Paul Foley has been named GM of Universal Music Classics Group (UMCG). Based in New York, Foley will report to Christopher Roberts, chairman of UMCG, and will oversee all sales, pop marketing, new media, publicity and promotion for the division.
For the past eight years Foley was GM of Rounder Records Group in Cambridge, Mass. Prior to his tenure at Rounder, Foley was VP of sales for PolyGram Group Distribution for seven years. His career encompasses thirty years experience in the music business including retail, distribution and label management.

David Leach will be joining Universal Music Classics Group as senior VP of promotion. He is based in New York and reports to Foley, newly appointed GM of UMCG. Leach is tasked with overseeing all radio and video promotion for their roster of artists at all formats.
Most recently, Leach was COO of Big3 Entertainment, for the last three years, where he was responsible for all of their day-to-day operations. He has held various positions over his 23 year tenure, including executive VP of Island Def Jam Music Group, as well as GM/executive VP of the Mercury Records Group.
