The turn up is officially over. HDYNation may be forever, but Josh Young and Curt Cameruci together as trap lords Flosstradamus are no more.
Young, aka J2K, announced his decision to focus on his solo career in 2017 via Instagram. He says he came to the conclusion at the end of summer, but was unable to share his move with fans until the HDYNation tour ended.
He doesn’t cite any bad blood and admits the decision comes after much “soul searching.” He gives “much respect” to Curt, the HDYNation, and Floss’ management team. He points out his HDYNation tattoos and promises to rep for life, but he is excited for the new music he will share with fans in the coming year.
“Lots of new music coming in 2017,” he says. “Peace, love and HDYNation forever.”
Cameruci also took to Twitter to reassure fans that Flosstradamus would live on: “I am excited to carry the torch.”
