The artist FKA Twigs has been the target of racism and threats since it became apparent that she was romantically involved with Robert Pattinson, who’s best known for his work in the Twilight movies. In a new interview, Twigs said that she’s glad to be dating the actor.

“I really enjoy the fun of putting something out and people liking it or hating it or talking about it,” she told USA Today, “but vacuous attention, it feels disgusting. It’s like a hangover.” However, “the positivity that I get from (my relationship) makes the more challenging aspects … very worth it.”
