It’s been a lifetime since Fischerspooner landed an eye-popping record deal and dropped the electroclash touchstone, #1. And it’s been an age – well, eight years to be fair — since the New York electro-pop act released an album, 2009’s Entertainment.
That’s about to change with the upcoming release of SIR, which is due to arrive early 2018 on Ultra Records and was produced by Michael Stipe and mixed by Stuart White (Beyonce‘s Lemonade)
The first single, “Have Fun Tonight,” co-produced by Boots (who has collaborated with Beyonce, Jay-Z, FKA Twigs and Run The Jewels), dropped in June and the fun keeps coming with remixes by Wolfram and Mr. A. Check out the recordings below.
