Fiona Apple returns to the road this fall with a collaborative series being dubbed “Anything We Want: An Evening with Fiona Apple and Blake Mills.”
This announcement comes nearly a week after Apple unexpectedly released the stunning music video for “Hot Knife,” directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. The four-week tour meanders through 13 cities across North America, starting in Portland, Oregon and ending in Washington, D.C.

All dates have been finalized, while the show itself remains a work in progress. In a statement, the songwriters indicate the set list will feature “songs from their respective catalogues as well as some original yet to be released material.”
In the past, Mills worked as the opening act and guitarist for Apple’s “The Idler Wheel…” tour. This time around, Apple and Mills will perform as a duo, making this tour a full-on collaboration.
“We know it’ll be something special, and we aren’t being coy here — it’s just that we have about 26% of an idea of what the fuck we will be playing for you,” Apple and Mills said.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 2.
