Jeff Fenster has been named senior VP of A&R for the Zomba Music Group. He reports to Peter Thea, senior VP of ZLG, and is based in New York.
Fenster previously worked at Zomba from 1992 through 1999 where he worked with artists such as Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, and A Tribe Called Quest. Most recently, Fenster was senior VP of A&R for Arista Records from July 2004 through September 2005 and prior to Arista he was senior VP and head of A&R for Island Def Jam Records. While there he worked with such artists as The Killers, Bon Jovi, Hoobastank, Mariah Carey, Sum 41, Fall Out Boy and Nickelback.
Jeff’s career in the music industry also includes his work as an attorney for the law firm Mitchell, Silberber and Knupp and the Business Affairs office at Warner Bros. Records.
