The worlds of gaming and electronic music continue to cross-pollinate in exciting ways. Razer, a popular tech and accessory brand within the gaming sphere, will launch a new content platform Tuesday geared specifically toward music production.
Razer Music will feature video tutorials, production articles and interviews with high-profile artists within the electronic music space.
While the full list of contributing artists will be revealed with Razer Music’s official launch, Billboard is exclusively premiering the site’s first video tutorial from Feed Me. As one of the more cherished sound designers in the industry, Jon Gooch is a compelling choice for the platform. Having led successful careers under the guise of Feed Me as well as his drum ‘n’ bass alias Spor, the U.K. producer has a wealth of knowledge to offer.

For his tutorial, Feed Me shows how to create a complex bass synth using XFER’s Serum — Steve Duda’s advanced wavetable synthesizer — in combination with distortion plugins such as iZotope Trash.
