Despite Ed’s lengthy social media hiatus and lull in official releases — his last album was 2014’s x, which topped the Billboard 200 album chart — his Sheerios certainly haven’t forgotten him, voting for him to move on against Little Mix‘s Mixers. Ed won his first Grammys earlier his year (Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance) for the sentimental “Thinking Out Loud.” Before “buggering off for a bit,” Ed announced his third album is on its way and will be “the best thing [he’s] made thus far.”

The departure of Zayn, and a hiatus, hasn’t caused 1D’s Directioners to lose steam; their last album, 2015’s Made in the A.M., reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, with singles “Drag Me Down” and “Perfect” reaching No. 3 and No. 10 on the Hot 100 chart, respectively. With active social media accounts where the members commemorate important group anniversaries and records, the four lads of 1D want fans to know they haven’t forgotten every little step that’s brought them to this point.
