Melisma/Atlantic group matchbox twenty will tour North America this fall, beginning Sept. 24 in Tallahassee, Fla., and running through year’s end. Beforehand, matchbox twenty will embark on a seven-date European tour, beginning Sept. 4 in Glasgow.
This summer has seen the group spend 10 weeks on the road in North America and Australia. The activity comes in support of the group’s third album, “More Than You Think You Are.” The album — which has sold 1.4 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan — is at No. 49 this week on The Billboard 200 in its 37th week on the chart.
It has spawned the singles “Unwell,” “Disease” and the latest cut “Bright Lights.” “Unwell” is at No. 6 in its 22nd week on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart.
