What’s it like to work for Fall Out Boy? The band’s video for “Uma Thurman” seeks to answer that question.
The clip’s concept is pretty silly by design. It follows a contest winner, Sarah, as she acts as the band’s assistant for 24 hours. Her tasks include walking a zebra, singing karaoke with vocalist Patrick Stump, playing paintball and more. The video has some pretty A-list cameos from Big Sean, Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco, Action Bronson, Big Data and MAX as well. But most importantly, the video includes an appearance from a group of adorable bunnies and baby chicks.
Pay close attention because the clip also gets political. Sarah’s last task is to get inside a tank and smash a truck with the letters “Article 1, Section 36.03” written on the side: a reference to Alabama’s ban on not issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
FOB (featuring Wiz Khalifa) will take the stage next month at the Billboard Music Awards. The show will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17, from 8-11 p.m. ET on ABC.
