Fall Out Boy will headline the third Nintendo Fusion tour this fall, which will begin Sept. 28 in Detroit. The bill will be rounded out by the Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, Boys Night Out and Panic! At The Disco.
At each tour stop, the venue lobby will be transformed with gaming kiosks and previews of the latest Nintendo offerings, including the new Game Boy Micro and the hand-held Nintendo DS system.
Fall Out Boy will be touring in support of its Island debut, “From Under the Cork Tree,” which has sold 327,000 copies in the United States since its May release. The Starting Line’s new Drive Thru album, “Based on a True Story,” opened in May at No. 18 on The Billboard 200.
Panic! At The Disco is signed to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz’s Decaydence Records, which will on Sept. 27 release its debut album, “The Fever You Can’t Sweat Out.”
Last year’s Nintendo Fusion tour was headlined by Story Of The Year and also featured Lostprophets, My Chemical Romance, Letter Kills, Anberlin and Autopilot Off.
