Brooklyn, N.Y.-based rapper Fabolous is readying his second album, “Street Dreams,” for a Jan. 14 release on Elektra/Desert Storm Records. The disc will feature production from the likes of DJ Clue & Duro, Timbaland, the Neptunes, Rockwilder, Rick Rock, and Just Blaze, as well as guest appearances by Mary J. Blige and Kanye West.
“Street Dreams” will be the follow-up to last year’s “Ghetto Fabolous,” which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 4 on The Billboard 200. It has sold 1 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The new album will feature first single “This Is My Party” (No. 59 this week on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart), as well as a remix of the last album’s “Trade It All” featuring P. Diddy and Jagged Edge (No. 16 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks).
The full track list has not been finalized yet, but stay tuned to Fabolous’ official Web site for more information. A streaming version of “This Is My Party” can be heard at the site.
